Unlock Your Lock

Unlocking happens only when your session rules allow it, once that happens the lock session is stamped permanently to ended and your calendar and lock sessions tracking are paused automatically.

When Unlocking Is Allowed

Unlocking becomes available only if:

• The timer is complete.
• Max time limit is reached
• A green card is picked or all required green cards are picked
• If task points conditions are met (time based locks only)
• Your keyholder unlocks you.

How to Unlock

When eligible, the lock card and lock details page shows a Reveal Combination button.

1. Click Reveal Combination finish the session.
2. View the combination image or code to open your lock box or device.
3. If on a device lock: The control buttons are available again

Things to Keep in Mind

• Keep a safe fallback method for emergencies.
• Confirm you can remove the device safely before starting a long session.
• Some extensions can add unlock conditions (for example, shared link votes).

Early Unlock Requests

Early unlocks are only possible in specific cases. Contact support chat.

Self Locks

Support can only help with misconfiguration that blocks completion. Contact support if that happens.

Keyholder Locks

Early unlocks may be possible if:

• The keyholder has been inactive for more than 7 days.
• The keyholder account has community features restricted or deletes their account

In those cases, you can unlock immediately or continue the lock as a self-lock.

Removed Locks

• When a lock is archived during an active session you are required to enter a 4 digit server generated code to be able to archive the session.
• After a lock has ended you are able to delete an active session with 'DELETE' input confirmation
• Keep in mind: Combination will be stored in archived locks history for viewing later
• Combination pictures can not be recovered once deleted.
