Invite a Keyholder

To invite a keyholder, open your lock details page and click Generate share link. Send this link to any keyholder you want to become your owner.

The share link allows anyone to take ownership of your lock session. It expires 24 hours after creation, so generate a new one if needed.

Make Lock Discoverable

Enable Make Lock Discoverable to let anyone take control of your lock session, or apply filters like age limits, gender, sexual identity, or country.

Note: Users are only required to enter age and gender. Adding more filters can significantly reduce visibility on the explore page.

Don't Want a Keyholder?

If you're on a self-lock session and know you don't want anyone to take over, you can disable keyholder transfers for the rest of the session:

1. Go to your Lock Detail control page (click the lock card on the main dashboard)
2. Scroll to Disable Features
3. Disable the option to transfer control to a keyholder

This prevents anyone from becoming your keyholder for the remainder of the session.
